Guerlain Avoided 11.4% in Emission From Creative Delivery*

Guerlain and their media agency Publicis Media Luxe partnered with SeenThis to deliver their latest Abeille Royale awareness campaign in France. SeenThis streaming technology enabled the campaign to use high quality video and images in display ad spaces. Some of the key campaign formats delivered 80.5% video starts and 75.4% completion rate.

1. The estimated data reduction is based on a proprietary model developed by SeenThis, and compared to running video of corresponding quality using conventional codec h264 main, mp4 progressive download; or compared to static display where images are downloaded and not streamed.
2. Assuming 1 GB corresponds to 1 kg CO2e with streaming impact on the data value chain being 30%. Emission factor based on methodology validated by Doconomy.
