Mixx Awards 2022: SeenThis shortlisted for best digital campaign

Together with PHD Sweden, SeenThis has been nominated for this year’s IAB Mixx Award for their Skoda Sweden campaign. Focusing on creativity and results, the Mixx Awards recognizes teams, talent, and brands for their interactive and innovative advertising strategies. 

The best digital campaign of 2022 demonstrates innovation through their use of technology in bringing ads to consumers in relevant and creative ways. Criteria includes using media with significant effect and proven results. For PHD Sweden and SeenThis, the motivation for their Skoda Sweden campaign was,“A campaign with innovative use of banners successfully adapted to the target group.”  

The judging panel for the best digital campaign includes chairperson Anne Mogensen Voss (Publicis Group), Daniel Eriksson (AdOn), Håkan Gustafsson (Kantar), Helena Juhlin Pink (OMD) and Nicole Kavander (All of Us). 

Configure Your Skoda Car — In Banner

The campaign moved parts of Skoda’s Car Configurator into a combined video and interactive banner, with the goal of shortening the conversion path to a completed configuration, since user choice is predefined upon entering the website. 

The results were outstanding: 

    done92% of users who interacted with the banner completed the full configuration on-site — the main KPI for Skoda. 

    doneThe overall campaign uplift for completed configurations was 180% compared to previous campaigns where regular static ads were used. 

    doneIncreased user engagement resulted in a 60% CTR (click-through rate) uplift and a 42% lower CPA (cost per acquisition on completed configurations compared to static ads. 

The banners have led to greater engagement and lower costs throughout the campaign. Their use has been prolonged multiple times due to the exceptional results.
