SeenThis shortlisted in two categories for The Wires 2022 Global Awards

SeenThis, a technology company offering innovative streaming solutions for digital advertising announces that it is nominated in two categories at The Wires 2022 Awards by ExchangeWire: Best Digital Campaign and Best Application of ESG. The winner will be announced in an award ceremony on November 10 in London.

The Wires Global recognises the very best use of digital media, marketing and commerce, with a focus on ad tech and martech, across all aspects of media sales and media buying, celebrating use of technology, expertise, and innovation within the industry.

The category for Best Digital Campaign focuses on the most effective and innovative use of digital media buying or selling. SeenThis is nominated together with full-service digital marketing partner, Croud. The nomination was motivated by the partnership, which has been fighting unnecessary carbon emissions in digital advertising and at the same time, cutting costs per acquisition since 2021.

The category for Best Application of ESG is new for 2022 and recognises the best campaigns and case studies that apply environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG) principles within media, marketing and commerce: from reducing their carbon footprint, to improving diversity and inclusion, and everything in between the ESG areas.

SeenThis is shortlisted for the ESG category for the Lean, Mean, Green Hub Optimisation Machine campaign, created in partnership with media agency Mediahub and metabolism tracker Lumen. The campaign is also shortlisted for Campaign Ad Net Zero Award.

The results are driven by Mediahub’s attention platform ARC (dubbed Attentive Reach & Composition) which cuts the tail of ads that are not viewed long enough to drive impact in combination with SeenThis streaming technology. This reduces data transfers when delivering advertising creatives, avoiding excessive CO2 emissions compared to legacy technology*. The aim of the partnership is to prove how sustainability initiatives and ad performance can coexist.

Gareth Holmes, Vice President EMEA & APAC says, “We’re very excited to be able to showcase our streaming technology through these partnerships and to achieve results great enough to be recognised in several categories for The Wires, as well as the Campaign Ad Net Zero Awards. We’re really proud to be able to provide a more sustainable advertising solution”.

*To measure carbon footprint reduction, SeenThis uses Doconomy’s carbon key, which converts data savings into a CO2 emissions equivalent.
